For ages 13–15 who have completed at least one year of our Summer Camp or After School Program will automatically be considered for a Junior Camp Counselor position.

Summer camp runs from July 6th to July 31st, Monday through Friday, 8am to 12pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, so you don't have to worry about packing a lunch for your child. STARR ANDREWS

ON-ICE DIRECTOR

We are proud to welcome our new On-Ice Director, Starr Andrews, to the Unity Ice Academy team!

As a prominent figure in the world of figure skating and a distinguished member of Team USA, and named an alternate for the U.S. Olympic Team. Andrews has competed at the highest levels internationally, showcasing her exceptional talent. Notably, in 2022, she made history as the first African American woman to earn a medal in singles during the Grand Prix.

Andrews continued her trailblazing journey in 2023 by securing a remarkable third-place finish at the US Championships, becoming the first African American woman to achieve this feat since the legendary Debi Thomas in 1988.

Andrews is excited to share her passion and love of ice skating with future generations, hoping to inspire them to dream big and learn, if they fall….just get up! As an international competitor, aside from her training, by joining the Unity Ice family she is returning to the beginning steps of what made her fall in love with the sport: having fun and being free on the ice.
