At Unity Ice Academy, we aim to make ice skating available to everyone—especially children who otherwise would not have access due to the high cost. Even though we would love to have everyone who applies in our program, since Unity Ice Academy is a free-of-charge program, we must limit the total number of participants we can accept each year. We will thoroughly review each application and seriously consider applicants who express enthusiasm, a desire to learn figure skating, and a positive attitude.
If your child is 13 years of age, they will be automatically applying to be a Junior Camp Counselor. As a Junior Camp Counselor, your child will help assist the younger kids in the program as they learn the same lessons of confidence, communication, and integrity that we instill in all our campers.
Though it is not required, we encourage you to include a video, artwork, or a short piece of writing at the end of the application that expresses why your child wants to be a part of this program. The more we know about your child and their desire to join our Summer Camp, the better! Adding this one-of-a-kind work made by your child will be a fantastic opportunity for us to get to know them if they have not yet participated in a Unity Ice Academy program.
If your child is selected to participate in the 2023 Unity Ice Academy Summer Camp, you will be notified by April 21st.
If your child is not selected this year, you will be notified when we are accepting applications for the 2024 Unity Ice Academy Summer Camp.

Unity Ice Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, handicap, religion or national origin. Unity Ice Academy reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse an application or dismiss a child from camp.
I give Unity Ice Academy permission to photograph and/or videotape my child for public relations and/or marketing purposes. Photos will remain archived at Unity Ice Academy and can be used for promotional purposes without notification.
I give permission for Unity Ice Academy to transport my child off camp location for the purpose of field trips and/or medical care. I understand that a schedule of events will be available to me and that all events are subject to change due to weather and/or scheduling conflicts without notice.
I authorize the camp management to act as the agent of the parents in any emergency situation or to administer basic first aid for the health and welfare of the camper involved. I am responsible for the expenses involved if the services of a physician or hospital are required.
